Not only did we showcase our wide range of products and services, but we also celebrated recognition at the highest level, winning three prestigious awards and welcoming His Excellency, President William Samoei Ruto, to our stand. This was more than just an exhibition  it was a testament to our promise of empowering members socially and financially, and giving them the #PowerToSucceed. 

Our stand was a hive of activity throughout the week. Members, potential members, partners, and leaders from across Kenya visited to learn more about how the Sacco is building futures through accessible financial solutions. 

Visitors interacted with our staff and management team, exploring the different products designed for every stage of life from Dau Junior accounts for children, to innovative mobile solutions like the *BandariPesa App and 636# USSD service, to our wide range of savings and loan products. 

One of the biggest highlights for Bandari DT Sacco was the recognition we received on the awards stage. Competing among some of the country’s most respected financial institutions and cooperatives, Bandari emerged as a clear winner in multiple categories.

The highlight of the show came when H.E. President William Samoei Ruto, accompanied by Mombasa Governor Abdullswamad Sherrif Nassir, officially opened the 2025 Mombasa ASK Show and visited the Bandari DT Sacco stand. 

Our Board Chair, Ken Sungu, welcomed the President and took him through the Sacco’s story of growth and impact, while our CEO, Joseph Otieno Bee, showcased how Bandari’s strategies align with the Government’s BETA Agenda. 

The President witnessed firsthand how Bandari DT Sacco continues to be anchored in trust, inspired by innovation, and committed to empowering Kenyans through accessible financial solutions. The visit was not only an honor but also an affirmation that Bandari is on the right path in serving its members and supporting national development goals. 

While the awards and presidential recognition were milestones, what truly defined the week was the connection with our members. Hundreds of members visited the stand daily to ask questions, explore services, and share their experiences. Parents brought their children to learn more about Dau Junior accounts, business owners came to explore loan solutions, and young professionals engaged with our digital products that make financial management easier. Every interaction is a reminder that our success is built on the trust and loyalty of our members. As we always say this victory belongs to you.
